Take friendly competition to a new level as you race your opponents to the top of this colorful tower! Leaps and Ledges puts a twist to the traditional board game with its intriguing design—sending daring players up and down instead of around. Play your cards just right to move your pawns up in small steps or big leaps—but beware; only pawns of the same color can occupy a level. Some cards allow you to sabotage your opponents by sending them down levels or by knocking them off completely. Watch out for sneaky players on a rampage—they will knock everyone off on their way up! Wild cards add suspense to the mix by knocking opponents backwards or forcing them to overshoot the top crown. To be safe, move your pawns in pairs and protect them from attacks. The first player to get all four of their pawns to the top is the tower champion! With multiple strategy tricks to learn, you'll be tempted to challenge family and friends again and again! For 2 to 4 players.

• Strengthens math, strategy and problem-solving skills
• Fast pace family game that's adaptable to a wide range of ages and skill levels
• Sturdy base, 15 colorful platforms, tower crown, 72 playing cards and 15 pawns
• Cards are numbered 1-12 plus four types of specialty cards: "Flip, Rampage, Wild and Precision"

Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun on many levels. My family loves this game. It kept everyone busy and entertained while I prepared Christmas. brunch, and it was hard to pull them away from the game to the table. First there is the construction of the tower, which is part of the fun. Then there is working out a strategy to get all four pawns to the top and the delight in knocking opponents off the ledges on the way. I gave them the option of leaving the game at my house or taking it home. They took it home forcing me to buy another.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun game for entire famaily Bought Leaps and Ledges for 4 sets of grandkids ages 7 -17. All enjoyed the game. Set-up and learning to play easy. Building the tower is especially fun for the younger ones. Doesn't take too long to play so holds everyone's attention. Challenging enough for all ages, including parents and grandparents.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from KIDS LIKED THE GAME i gave this game to my son's girlfriends children, ages 17, 15 and 10 years of age. i understand they like it. i wanted a game that these kids would like and that could also be played by adults. i think i "filled the bill". i like being able to select games from your catalog and know how they are rated. keep up the good work. i like to shop by catalog, no rushing around in crowded malls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great game for all ages! Our 10 year old daughter got this for Christmas and our entire family has enjoyed playing it! Several times, my 15 year old step son has even suggested we play :-) Grandma and grandpa have also joined in for a few games… I'd describe it as 3-D SORRY!, but with a little strategy involved because you hold three cards and as your turn approaches, you can try and plan how you're going to use your card. (One card each turn.) Of course, the moves the other players make can change even the best of plans - but it's a lot of fun and you'll laugh a lot as you attempt to reach the top of the tower! Even younger children could join the fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Challenge Grand kids couldn't stop playing with this. All four, ages 12 to 6, quickly learned the rules and simply loved it. Of course it was a little harder for my 60+ wife to catch on, but she too loved playing the game with the kids.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clever My husband and I love to play board games with our grandsons, ages 10 and 8. Bought this for them for Christmas. Really enjoy it. Reminds me a little of Sorry. You can send other players back to the start, and you need to move four tokens to the end to win. I have no major complaints, except the game can take a long time, because you are constantly getting sent back to the start. The setup is more interesting than a traditional board game. You go UP instead of AROUND the board. Lots of fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Colorful, easy to assemble Gift for 12 & 9 yr. old grandsons. Both very tech game savvy. However, they spent time setting up and playing this game even with other electronic options available. Got the comment that Gran finds the neatest things for them to play.
