Not for a 4yr old
Christmas gift from Aunt purchased at Target. Its NOT stable, took too long to assemble and there are not many variations because their aren't enough connector pieces. Its a cool idea, but needs improvements. Go get the marble run from Toys R Us, a lot more user and parent friendly.

Perfect gift for a 4-year-old wannabe Engineer -- boy or girl!
I am at a total loss to understand the reviewer who thought this toy was "a piece of junk"! We found it to be beautifully constructed and sturdy enough to survive intact after the 80lb family dog walked on some of the pieces! This was an early Christmas gift for my 4-year-old grandson and he and his 6-year-old sister had hours of fun with this toy! It promotes design, creative, and imagination skills and is perfect for budding young engineers. It's a winner, MindWare!

A piece of junk!!
I purchased this for grands and other kids who visit our home. What a piece of plastic junk!! The whole structure is unstable. The elevator does not work well. The marbles fall off the platform that tilts on the elevator. I would give this a ZERO rating if it were available.

Great product for a 6 years old girl
It's a great product. My daughter is 6 and she didn't want to go to sleep till we built it together. If reconfigured with some small changes it can be assembled to run for ever without the need to collect the marbles.
