My grandson loves this toy! He has spent hours exploring it. However, there has been some frustration with the elevator sticking and pieces not holding together. On the grand scale, a very good product.

If you are into engineering, and creativity, then I definitely recommend it. It may look hard, but trust me, you’ll get used to it.

My kids love this
I am purchasing this because my two children, a girl 9 and a boy 11, already have a very basic set and they really enjoy it. I don't know about the elevator, but if it breaks and the company will replace it I think it will be worth it.
Yes, it is relatively easy to topple over if you make it really tall, but that is part of the challenge for my two. How to get the most "go" for the hight, AND it has to be stable enough to not fall over. I'm purchasing more of it because when we play with it, usually the reason we put it away after a half hour or so is that we run out of pieces. We always say "we need more pieces!" I'm thrilled with any toy that my boy especially will play with that isn't a video game.

Expensive but fun
I purchased this set at Target for my 3yr old nephew. He had fun stacking pieces together but without help, this would be too frustrating for him. These pieces are made well but are un stable when assembled. For the price, I wish the company would package more connector pieces along with adding more bases so it’ll stand easier. Individually, these pieces seem pretty durable against a child’s wear & tear.
The elevator works if you can line it up on the motor exactly. I’ve read the motor breaks down quickly but we haven’t experienced this yet.
I’m curious to see if these are compatible and comparable to other marble runs, if so I’ll be buying other brand connector pieces since they are more affordable.

Falls apart
Purchased this product and had a hard time setting it up. It falls apart constantly even if we put it on a hard surface. Bought for my 7 year old and after a couple of runs, from him collecting his marbles, it falls apart.

Hard to put together
I took over 2 hours to assemble and I am a General Contractor doing 5 to 10 million construction project and a Civil contractor. It is unstable until the last pieces are put together.

Flimsey Elevator Marble Run
I just feel that this product is not sturdy and needs a hard surface to stand on. It is also a bit difficult for a 4 year old to put together.

Loads of fun- once it’s assembled..
My 5 year old grandson loves playing with the set. The elevator and all the other accessories for the “runs” keep his curiosity engaged. The assembly instructions were not easy to follow because the illustrations were too small. Looking at the picture on the box helped some. The connector pieces are not real sturdy, and the set could use more ‘feet’ at the bottom of the columns to help with stability. We have enjoyed this toy for hours at a time.

Too wobbly
Just not the quality I had hoped for the money. Very wobbly and frustrates us all as we try to use. We may glue the constructed pieces together to make it s permanent structure. Else it won’t get used.

Great Buy
My grandsons loved this and played with it for hours the day they received it. My own children had received it (without the elevator) years ago, under a different name, and it was the hit of Christmas. Same thing for this generation.

Not recommended
The plastic pieces that pick up the marble wore out during the first time we played with the marble run. We are trying to find a way to permanently fuse the pieces but I am not confident that we will. I bought two of these for different children and we had the same problem with both. The marble run itself is fine but don't waste your money on the marble return mechanism.

The elevator portion was great. Pretty good for a marble run. My only complaint was there weren’t a lot of peices.
