Fun, Fun, and more Fun!
Oh my gosh. This present was a hit with my 3 year old grandson. When he isn't running marbles down the chutes he is creating his own towers to see how high he can stack them. We made it just like the picture and he breaks it down and reconstructs it all the time. Love, love, love this educational toy. One of his favorites for Christmas.

Great toy!
My 5 and 8 year old girls love putting the marble run structure together and making their own towers. They love the elevator addition as well to add to their original Marble Run pieces!

Great idea but poor execution
The chain's tension can't be adjusted properly. It's either too tight or too loose. Neither the budding engineer (the 8 year old birthday girl) or the actual engineer (her dad) could get it to work). We're returning this marble run for another one, without the chain.

frusterating
This project is very frustrating. It was hard to get together so that it would work. Once together just a slight jar makes it fall apart

My kids love this
My kids really liked this! It was a lot of fun to assemble it and see it work. Another post mentioned that the directions are not entirely accurate, and I agree -- you just have to follow the picture on the box.

Grandson 4yr LOVES this stuff
1st a major WARNING - Instructions DO NOT show proper photo how to make this work properly! You MUST follow the photo on the cover of the instructions or better yet the box photos ONLY. (in the instructions Step 1 "all" the rails are going the wrong direction, the Lt.Green rail is going Uphill not Downhill which it has to go "Downhill" (left to right) to properly feed the elevator the other two rails don't matter but the bottom Lt. Green one MUST feed the elevator) Now after figuring out the instructions are just trash right from the beginning (toshed it aside), follow the photos! This is one the most interesting and "stable" of the marble run toys we have (we have 5 different ones from a couple of vendors including this the 3rd one from this vendor) The Jump was a huge hit, very cool...!!! ... and the elevator works flawlessly. (but ours squeaks) smile! The double funnel was the first thing my grandson was exited about and wanted to show us how it works... it's not too tall and stays together well. (stable) He can play with it sitting down. About 40Min setup time after all said and done...longer if the 4 year old is helping SMILE!
