I bough this tomplay with my 2 and 4 year old. I havent found many games tgat we can all play together but rhey both love this! Also love that it's not a win or lose game but just a fun learning game!

My 2 year old granddaughter loves this toy. She hasn't begun using it as directed, but she loves COOKING and using the recipe cards. She has so much fun putting in the ingredients and stirring away. She sings and hums and makes all kinds of racket because she uses an assortment of pots, including a "reindeer treat" bucket. It's been a creative and entertaining toy for her.

My 3 year old daughter really enjoys this game. It is a toy/game that she returns too often. It is not a competitive type game with a winner but does teach "game etiquette" and following rules as each person takes turns and draws cards. Pros: sturdy and well made, fosters cooperation AND independent play, teaches counting/following directions/pre-reading skills. Cons: there is not a "winner" -if that is something important to you, it is not to us. Highly recommend this cute well-made game!!

Great game on many levels
Acorn Soup was a Christmas gift for our 3 y.o. great grandchild. When she & her mom opened up, I was pleased that mom, an Early Childhood educator, was pleased with it. The real wooden spoon, the different "ingredient" cards, and the pot/bowl were loved by the little one. She wanted to make her own soup, but I'm sure she'll be mixing the recipes up shortly.
