Faulty parts. Did not work.

It did not work! Would be grateful for a refund! I was so excited to gift this to my 8 year old grandson who loves music. We put it together and it did not work. His grandfather tried. His father tried. The turn shaft did not connect the music box with the brush; thus, no sound. Big disappointment.

will not last

I got this for my gadget/engineering inclined 9-year-old. He had fun putting it together, but the gear that turned the music wheel broke and would no longer turn the wheel within about 15 minutes of play. While it worked, we found that none of the three music wheels we tried played the songs that they were supposed to play. I had hoped we could use this music box mechanism as a component to a larger creative project, but, alas, that is not to be.

Are there instructions for using the Music Box refill paper with the Build Your Own Music Box kit? I bought the music box kit for my granddaughter, and also the refill paper. Can't find any instructions on how to use the refills. Any advice?
