So original!
My group of game players love this above all other games - gets your mind working from many directions. It has a very generous set of game cards, AND we'd love to have another new set! p.s. We've banned the use of "sounds like" and we lengthen or shortened our timer based on players' aptitude.

OK game
This game is OK, but it is a lot like charades except it has funny phrases. And for me I would only be able to use it on certain times because it needs 4 players.

The game is a blast!
Our family had the best time playing this game. However, it took us a trial game and then some to get the hang of it. The teens in the group struggled a bit as some of the phrases or "combolutions" were generationally "foreign" to them! Ha-ha! What is so great about this game when played as a group game is that it can be cooperative as teams help team mates to beat the clock and solve the phrases. People who get a kick out of idioms and pop-culture phrases from ads and other sources will thoroughly enjoy if not rule this game. If you play in teams, younger kids can and do catch on. Our youngest player was 11. It's a great game for diverse groups of people of varying ages etc. Once you get started, you won't want to stop. It is kind of addictive. The nice thing with this game, unlike so many on the market today, there are tons, I mean tons of cards so you'll be able to play this game and it will stay fresh for a fairly long time before you work your way through all of the cards. This Game is "Super Cool-Aid." (Ha-ha! Sorry attempt at a combolution!)

good group game
This game kept us engaged and on our toes! We had 7 people playing the game , the youngest player was 14. The group is divided into two teams and the object is to get your own team to say a phrase, and another phrase, and them combine the phrases to say a combolution. An example phrase is "hot dog" and "dog walker", then moving to the combolution "hot dog walker". There are three challenges on each card. Try to complete all three before the timer runs out. It took our group a short while to get into the "groove" of the phrases. Once you begin thinking that way it flows well. Some of the phrases were not familiar to the 14 year old. I would rate this game for 13+. We also read the card before starting the timer. We chose the easiest challenges on the card to begin the round. The tokens were a nice change for scoring the game. We completed the game in just under an hour. If you didn't want to play that long you could change the amount of tokens to collect to win the game. We enjoyed ourselves and laughed a lot!

Smart, fun, and hilarious!!
We LOVED this game! We played with both adults and 14-15yr olds, and the game was enjoyed by all! The tokens are cute, and we liked them better than keeping score on a piece of paper. The game seemed a little like a combination of Catch Phrase and Wheel of Fortune's Before & After. It was excellent memory practice to have to remember the first phrase in order to say the "combolution" at the end combining the first and second phrases. We recommend using house rules to allow younger players (including teens) to read the entire card before the timer starts. Some of the cultural references were a little old for our teens to understand. So, they needed a minute to get over the "Huh? What is that?!!" factor in order to be able to describe the phrase. It also seems like it would be possible to separate out harder and easier cards for younger players. Some cards seemed to have all longer phrases, which were definitely harder to guess. While other cards had shorter, easier, and more well-known phrases. 10yrs seemed a little young for this game. I would go with 13+. Definitely a great team party game! The silly combolutions had everyone laughing!
