I think these books are for children a bit older and also for adults. My only problem is that the description of the product does not indicate that the colored pencils are not included. It gave the impression to me that they were actually included. That does not seem right when you consider the cost of the set.

These books are AWESOME!
These books are awesome and I have colored them all and am starting again. They re-did some of them so now they have 36 different colors to use! I can only use markers due to a medical condition and it's not always easy to match the correct colors, but I do my best and it's so relaxing and calming. I love these and hope they come out with more.

Color Counts: Fairies
This looked great in your catalog but it is way too hard for an eight year old child... can't read the numbers to color as they are so small and the paper the pictures are on is just plain cheap!

Great for all ages
At first my kindergarten aged granddaughter appeared overwhelmed with the tiny color by number patterns. However, after working with her just a bit, she got the hang of it and is improving her "staying in the lines" fine motor skills.

Great for practiced coloring lovers
I've bought these for my daughters, nephew and niece. They love them and always request more. The color spaces are quite small and detailed. It takes a bit of focus and time to complete a picture. I believe it has improved my younger daughters coloring skills. My only complaint is they need MORE! I would like to buy new selections.

needs to be larger
I wish I would have know how small the writing of the number spots were. My 7 year old wanted nothing to do with this after she couldn't see very well that the numbers are. Perhaps not for kids, need a mag. glass to read.

Very, very small areas
We own ALL of the Color by Number books that this company has printed. I love all of them tremendously BUT this one is not my favorite. I can't see the numbers in the small areas and just don't have the patience for this particular book. The pics are beautiful and if you have really good eyesight this book would be great.

I have no other reason to buy these, but for myself. I am 43yrs old. I have every Color Counts coloring book. I am alway looking to see when a new one has come out and I order them immediately. I started doing them a few years ago when my grandmother was very sick. I was very stressed out and I would sit by her bedside while she slept. We never left her alone. I found I loved doing them and I continued even after her passing. I particularly love this Fairies one. The smaller the better. I also love the US and World books. I use sharpies. Mostly ultra fine. Thank you for making a coloring book that adults can use. I love the color by number because it takes all the thinking out and it makes me feel like I am an artist when I know I really have no artistic ability!
