Not for a six year old
I bought this for my 6 year old grandson because the description said 6 and up. The squares are really small so I don’t think it is appropriate for 6 year olds. I also think you need the pencils that go with it because younger kids can’t read the names of the colors. I do think this is great for older people of any age.

Some challenging fun
I bought two of these books for my 7 year old twin granddaughters and they loved them. They started working on them right away and have mailed me since that they are challenging but fun. They do require patience, but they got some fun out of trying to figure out the picture as they colored it. I did buy the pencils as well which were in their own tin and sharpened and ready to go which was great as they dove into the activity.

Nice coloring book but it was not obvious that a I had to buy a specific set of markers. It does not come with markers when individual books are sold.
