I got this game for a 11-year old girl who loves to play games, thinking it is something she could challenge herself with on her own. Not only does she love it, but she loves working with others, so it can be a sharing game. Her father and I love it, too, and find the colors, rather than the numbers, a nice mental challenge. The wood is high quality, and the game itself is beautiful to look at. Good choice for kids and adults alike!

My wife recently became interested in Sudoku and I thought this would be a great gift. She has fallen in love with the colored marbles concept and can't put it down.

Love the game, don't like the 'storage' cover. The cover is made out of the soft plastic, it is very hard for a child (and adult) to turn the board over keeping the cover on it (as it suggested in the instruction booklet). The cover should be made out of hard plastic that snugs over the board and has some grooves for handling.

To me this is harder to play than numbers. You have to memmorize the colors. I think they should have light a white and a black because the light blue and dark blue, the light green and dark green aren't different enough. Also you need a system to pencil mark for the more difficult games. I would not purchse this and stck to using numbers.

This is a hit in my class! I do worry about losing one of the balls, though. A replacement kit would be a good product.

This is a frustrating toy because it is too difficult to remember which marbles are the starter marbles (i.e. the ones that you cannot move).It's a great concept, but the starter marbles need some kind of identifier on the board so that the player can easily see which marbles have to stay put.

Great way to introduce kids to Sudoku! The colors and manipulatives make it easier and more fun for kids to learn. The game is well made. It comes with nice little box to put the cards in, but unfortunately then they don't fit in the box with the game. A little thought into storage would have been nice.
