Loved the volcano and digging out artifacts from the glacier.
The blue bubbling lava came up a little short - but you can always mix your own baking soda/vinegar mixture up and have a second one. Having items in the glacier that you dig out was very well received. And having a baby volcano with another item to dig out was an extra treat and also nice to share with a friend. You do need your own safety goggles and we definitely added our own hammers to the mix. I don't think we ever would have broken through the plaster of paris without them. Messy.

Somewhat disappointed.
My son was so excited to receive this as a Christmas gift. Upon opening, I was a little thrown off on all of the safety precautions and wish it came with safety glasses and gloves. I know they have to cover themselves for accidents but the directions were somewhat frightening. Our powdered substances came solid and caked to the bottle even through there was a moisture packet inside. We got a small volcano effect after some scrapping and my son was amazed enough. Soaking is not necessary.
