Please make more of these style crates!! My 9 year old daughter LOVED this crate!! She says more dragon style crates😊 I'm not the best escape room puzzle solver, so I did peek at the solutions a couple times to get her thinking in the right direction. With the digs, this took about 2 1/2 hours. Her only frustration was tired bangs trying to get the final egg open

Intriguing family game night
My 7-year-old son loved this! He definitely needed some adult help. It's actually a great family activity. We all agreed that we wished there were more crates/story adventure kits available from MindWare. It's well done and will hold the interest of older kids and adults but provides plenty for younger kids to help with as well.

Awesome game!
I almost never leave reviews, but this was too awesome not to! My 9 and 12 year old kids really had a blast with this game. It kept them fully engaged for an hour and a half. It's such a great idea and so fun. It is really messy but sometimes you have to get a little messy to have fun.
I hope they come out with other editions because we really want to do another one!

Great Activity
I purchased this from a science center gift shop, not directly from MindWare. Absolutely fantastic "escape box" for children. It was challenging for my 8 year old and we worked on it together. Guessing about age 9-10 would solve independently. The box is really well done with great variety in the challenges. We loved it and wish there were other themes ... heck, I'd actually even buy the same box again since it was so well done.

Eggs need to be revamped
The game could have been fun and entertaining. However, opening the eggs was next to impossible. Even after soaking in hot water it took over a half hour getting into the last egg. And what a mess I had to clean up after! It took the fun out of the experience.

My 9 yo received this for Christmas. The product is of high quality materials and the challenges were moderately hard, some he did on his own and some he needed help to interpret correctly and get pointed in the right direction. He spent 1.5-2hrs on it. It is a one and done activity, so overpriced for that reason, make sure you get it when they have a promo deal.

Favorite gift of the year
This was a huge hit with both my 10 year old son and my 40 year old husband! We love escape rooms, so this was a familiar and fun family experience. Highly recommend and hope they make more!
