Product Details

Bring home the mystery and excitement of a paleontological dig! Use the heavy-duty tools to carefully extract a dinosaur skeleton that is buried in plaster. Once the excavation is complete, the hard-plastic bones can be washed and assembled to form a complete dinosaur model. Bones snap together and can be repeatedly reassembled.

So close
We enjoyed the discovery (8 yr old and 6 yr old). However, the set included two of the same hip bones instead of opposite bones. The dinosaur doesn’t stand up on its own.

bones all in one area of the block
My grandson loves doing these type of "dig and find" projects. This one was a bit disappointing because all of the bones were at one end of the block. Once he discovered that, he had no need or desire to explore the rest of the block. It would have been better if the bones were distributed throughout the digging block.
