Sparkly eggs and fun activity
My 5 year old granddaughter loves dinosaurs, and so for Christmas this was what she pointed out from the Mindware catalog. She loved digging for the toy and was very happy to add the new addition to her dinosaur collection. Now she wants to bring an egg to my house so I can watch her. ( Her mom said it was helpful to let the eggs soak longer than directed).

Dig It up Dinosaurs are Great
They are really fun. It would have been helpful in the directions to give some guidance for how long they should soak in the water before trying. The first time, our grandson was so anxious to to it, that chipping away with the wooden tool was a little frustrating, and we ended up soaking it 2 or 3 times. They have since found that soaking it for a longer time, makes it much easier to get, and it even leaves an impression in the original ball, like a fossil.

Fun! But pricey!
My kids love these eggs! Unfortunately, they are expensive, so I am going to try and make them myself. I think the craft store has everything I need to make them.

Will Buy Again
Our 4 year old granddaughter loved these eggs. The first egg was soaked as recommended and the rest of the eggs were soaked a couple minutes longer (5 minutes) to help her chip away faster. We put a bath towel under the egg to catch the dust & pieces since we did it inside.
