Very fun... if they're not already broken
We've enjoyed other Dig It Ups, but about 50% of the asteroids in this one were already cracked in half when we opened the box. Kind of ruined the fun of digging out the toys. Bummer!

Best to do with friends!
My son received these as a gift for his 4th birthday and was quite excited about them! Since there were 12 in the box, he was able to share some with friends and neighbors over the next few days. Chipping away at the asteroids does make a mess (think crumbly clay), so I would definitely recommend doing it outside and/or on newspaper. Good activity for anyone who enjoys surprise eggs or bath bombs with toys inside - just takes a little more effort!
