Fantastic!
I bought 3 sets, Dinosaurs, Minerals, and Dinosaur skeletons. It was Easter and our 16 family members were going camping to Joshua Tree. I only took 2 sets because of space but I should have taken all 3. It was a bigger hit than I could ever imagine. They loved it. Even the 14 year old wanted more. (grandchildren ages 5,6, 9,10, 12, 14) They liked the minerals best. Only one mineral was disappointing but all the other fossils had nice gems. Fabulous idea.

Fun and educational activity!
This is a great educational and fun product for kids. They love to dig for the treasure and the rocks/minerals inside were of nice quality and often more than one per unit. A great activity for a party. One note is that there can be a lot of dust when excavating dry, so might be best done outdoors and can sprinkle with water to cut down dust.

niece loved it
This is very easy exploration toy. It takes some work to extract the gem or fossil but that gives the child the sense of dedication and reward felt by real archeologists. It will keep her busy for hours.
