Treasures at the bottom, frustrating for young kids.
The treasures in mine were all at the bottom as well. This made it frustrating for my 4-year-old since it required so much digging for no reward and consequently, lost her interest rather quickly. In the end, we took it outside with a regular hammer and she was able to get out the remaining 12 of the 13 treasures that were at the bottom. The digging also requires quite a bit of physical strength. I would definitely recommend this for children much older than 4, rather than the 4+ listed.

I bought this for my 6 year old for Christmas. It was one of her favorite gifts! She loved finding the charms & has shown them to everyone. I did end up helping her after a few days of digging. All of the charms were on the bottom of the rainbow and she was getting worried that nothing was in there haha! The poster that comes with it is great, too.
