I was given this product to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. As a homeschooling mom, I’m always looking for fun, hands-on activities for my 7 year old daughter to experience. This product did not disappoint! My daughter had a blast chiseling away to free the 7 dragons! It took about 40 minutes. It was helpful to soak the egg before and during the activity. Also, it is a bit messy, so plan accordingly. I would definitely recommend this product and feel it is worth the price.

I received this toy from stellar product testing panel. This egg was HUGE! My kids loved digging all the dinosaurs out of it and they were a pretty decent size too. All the dinosaurs were different and really cool looking. The egg it’s self was very easy to break, and lots of fun this is by far the best breaking egg toy we’ve played with. Definitely will repurchase and gift it to someone else for Christmas.

This kit was a huge hit with my daughter (6). I highly recommend an outdoor space in which to work on this as it was quite messy, which honestly added to the enjoyment for my little one. Set aside a fair amount of time as digging out all of the dragon pices can take awhile. It kept us both engaged as we continued to dig out eachdragon. I received this product from Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Big Egg was very fun. Our 6 year old daughter really enjoyed it as well as my wife and I! She stayed engaged and kept digging for a few days until she got all of the dragons. It was really cool to dig and find a dragon hand. You have to soak the egg in water for a few minutes periodically to soften the plaster. It was very messy, but the fun is worth it! It was good quality, engaging, and fun! We were very happy with this product!

I received this as a gift from Stellar Product Testing Panel and I absolutely could not wait to see it in action. My 11 year old and my 7 year old immediately knew it was for them and were so excited to get to work! They immediately created a plan to start breaking away at this extremely cool golden egg. They took turns and bursted into excitement with every piece of a dragon that they could see. I’ve never seen them have this much fun together. They loved it so much and I loved watching them!

We received the kit for free as a Stellar Review product testing panel member. My kids (6B and 4G) were very excited to open it and get started! Here’s a breakdown: we read the instructions and got to work, soaking the egg in water for the recommended time and diving in with the little plastic chisel things. We quickly realized that it was going to take MUCH longer than we had planned for, required way more help from mom and was SO MESSY. The kids loved it but I would suggest for an older child.

This “Dig It Up! The BIG Egg: Dragons” product that came from the Stellar Product Testing Panel is everything as my kids and I imagined! The package was very easy to open with clear instructions attached. My kids thought this excavation kit was extremely easy and exciting! The kit’s quality and value was excellent. This kit was very engaging amongst my kids and I. Throughout the entire activity, my kids enjoyed finding the items the most!

My kids really love excavating things so this was right up their alley. You have to soak the egg for 5 minutes in order to soften it and I like that they included 2 digging tools, so my kids each could each get one. This activity is very messy, the texture is similar to a plaster/clay when wet, and my kids did not love how messy it got and found it harder to dig through. The dragons are cool, but the digging was too messy for us. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

This was not as fun as imagined coming out of the box. The kids actually got bored with this because they had to wait for it to soak and then the small tools were taking forever to break the egg, so the man took over and dug out the rest, substituting the small hammer for a butterknife. Generic toys. Hard to use. Simply not enough attention for kids to want to finish. I got this free as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my review.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, my kids and I were able to excavate some magical dragons with this golden egg. We started out pretty excited, but after 30 minutes and a huge mess, my kids gave up and I was left to finish the job. It does make quite a mess, so be prepared for it. Would also like to know if the materials are non toxic or not since we’re handling them so closely? I’m assuming it’s safe and it is a fun experiment, but I would suggest it for older kids.

My six year old had a blast but I think it was too hard for my four year old. The hammer that comes with the kit broke within the first few minutes. All of the dragons were placed closed together. It would have been cool if they were a little more spread out. the quality of the clay egg and dragons is great. It kept the kids entertained for 45 minutes!
