Not a different animal in each stump
My kids loved these except for the fact that they got doubles which was a big disappointment, especially since my son didn’t get the bear, his favorite animal. We bought these as stocking gifts for my three boys (4 logs each). I assumed there was a different animal in each since the box states “12 stumps a different animal in each” so to have them dig and find out they received the same animal wasn’t very exciting.

We gave these to our grandchildren ages 5-9 and they loved chiseling away at them and discovering what creature would appear. Then they played with the animals, creating stories with them.
