Durable, easy to use, easy to understand, and always interesting, this toy is going to be wonderful for our bright daughter for years to come. She is almost 7 and is enjoying setting up various circuits to see what they can be used for. Though she doesn't understand all the properties of electricity yet, she is able to figure out how the well-designed, snap-together pieces go together to make useful circuits.

A very fun and educational toy
The Snap Circuits 300 is a very educational toy that is also a lot of fun. We gave it to our 10 year old grandson for Christmas, and he really enjoyed making a lot of circuits with it. It was his first exposure to electronics, and he learned the concepts quickly. The kit is very well designed, and the parts are very sturdy. Even our seven year old grandson was able to make some circuits of his own. He especially liked ones that made noises.

Great start as educational toy
Great idea and easy to use. Only draw back is the fact that an adult is needed for children less then 13. I needed to teach my Grandson that direction of circuit assembly is important and that you can burn out components if placed wrong. A child wants to jump in and start assembling like a puzzle with no understanding of the consequences.
Had one part that failed to operate but I found the form to send for a replacement.
