Snap Circuits
My 12 1/2 year old grandson received the snap circuits with lights for Christmas. He opened the box and was very excited to receive it. His 17 year old brother and his 18 year old cousin sat on the floor and played with the circuits with him. All three had a good time figuring out how to make things work.

Good initial response
My grandson enjoyed setting up circuits to get some lighting effects. He needed help from his dad to get the motor circuits functioning. A transistor circuit was needed to get enough current for the motor.

Nephew loved it
Lots of interesting projects to accomplish. Snap together system is better & safer for little ones than the old fashioned wire & spring boards of the past. To get even more out of the set, it has a configuration where you can plug in your iPad, phone or other device so the lights & music synchronize together. Dance party! Learning is so much fun.

Well loved!
We gave this to our 12 year old granddaughter for Christmas and she couldn't leave it alone. She was totally absorbed by it for the two days she was here. It was amazing the number of possibilities that could be made with this snap circuit activity and were nicely illustrated in the booklet that came with it. I think we were as thrilled as she was by it!

We got this for my 9 year old son for Christmas! He was so excited! it was the first thing he wanted to tear out of its package so he could start playing with it right away! And he did! I highly recommend this gifts. Its really cool and really different! My husband is looking forward to building with him as well!

Great watching my grandchildren getting excited using it
This brings me back to when I got my first electronics kit in the 50's. Grandson is the minimum age recommended and he jumped right in to it. The instructions for the 170+ projects are easy to follow and good at educationally explaining why various components are used.

Great features & immediate draw
We decided this year to mix it up. We purchased the snap circuit light show to help our son fundamentally understand electricity and how powerful it can be.
This set is everything we read and more. The draw was immediate and our son continues to work on projects. We have even done some of our own.
