A high quality hobby kit
My ten-year-old son and I have been putting this clock together, in a rather fitful manner, since the 2nd week of January. We are amazed at the quality and precision of the components and the generally easy-to-follow instructions.
I did manage to break the minute hand during final assembly and have created a template from which to fabricate a new part in case my glue job proves inadequately strong, but that is hardly the fault of anything but my carelessness.
Fantastic kit!

Buyer beware
The wood was laser cut well, but the pieces don’t fit together correctly. The square plastic pieces needed to be hammered on. The shafts don’t even hold the rods in, and the metal rods aren’t long enough to span the clock’s skeleton, even when assembled correctly. It’s a cheaper version of the ROKU clock.

Thank you for your feedback. The kit includes pieces that aid in pushing small parts together. Reusing this tool will help with the precise construction.

Nice Novelty Clock.
Clock goes together nicely and seems reasonably accurate. Some of the fit is a little poor but works.
Some of the the tiny parts are brittle.
HOWEVER, the biggest thing to me is it only runs 6.5 hours on a winding. Are you kidding me. A novelty at best but I did want to see how it went together.

I bought this product for my husband for xmas. He just finished it yesterday and it works great! We're thinking of doing another similar project. You made an old man very happy. Thank you all.

Approved by a budding engineer/scientist
The Gearjits pendulum clock was selected by a grandchild - who lives two states away - from your catalogue. Though I haven't seen it "in person" yet, it seems to have been a hit to this 8-year-old science guy, who got into the box and had it over halfway together before his dad joined in to help. It seems to have been a hit . "Fascinating to watch", both say.

Our clock only runs for ~30 seconds, and then stops. Any suggestions on how to fix it?
