Both my sons loved working on this. They're 9 & 11 and only needed help from their dad and I a few times. The only downside they found was that even in Colorado the sun isn't strong enough in the winter to fuel the solar power much.

Great STEM project.
I received this product from Stellar Product Testing Panel. I presented this the Scout Rover to my 14 yo nephew who was very excited to put it together. The instructions were clear enough that his 11 yo sister could also help out. The quality of the puzzle plus the educational factor of this made me feel that it deserved 5 stars. This is a great project/puzzle for those kids/families that enjoy building models and putting together puzzles. This is a great toy to encourage STEM.

For kids who love to create.
My son has always been excited to build and create since he was very little, so when I saw that we were receiving the Gearjits Scout Rover as part of the Stellar Prodcur testing panel, I couldn’t wait to tell him. He asked every day if it was here yet. When it finally came he couldn’t wait to get started. It took him a couple of days but he had a blast building the rover. The instructions were clear as he did not need any help from us. And it’s just as much fun to play with as it is to build it.

Super cool
Once completed the Rover is really cool! I ended having to help my son or it together because there were a lot of tiny pieces. The directions we're easy to follow and it came with all the tools you needed to put it together. Some of the wood seemed flimsy like we were going to break it but that didn't happen and even after playing with it, it didn't break. Thank you to the stellar product testing panel for providing us with this puzzle.

Rover Puzzle Fun
I received the Rover Puzzle through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My 5 yr old daughter and I enjoyed putting this together. She popped out the pieces and pressed together what she could and I did the rest. It took us 3 nights (approx 6 hours) to build. We broke one piece, but was able to glue back together. The instructions were easy to follow. We did manage to get the gears lined up and the Rover moved on the first try! It needs a smooth surface to roll on. Great non-screen time activity.
