Gearjits, a 10th birthday hit
We got these kits for Gearjits projector and clock for our grandson's 10th birthday. He' lives in California and we live in Georgia so we were on the phone together when he opened the package. He, his 12 year old older brother, and mother were thrilled to receive the construction models. He hasn't begun to make them yet, but he's very enthusiastic to do so.

Pieces aren’t strong enough to build!!!

Totally loved geeking out on it!
I loved throwing myself into this. I rarely get the chance to do puzzles like this anymore after becoming a mom and this was exactly what I needed. It took me most of the day (took it slowly) and was super careful (as the pieces are a little fragile)… when it was done I was so excited and so was my son when he saw what it did. Now we look forward to putting the globe together.

Great for 12-yr old who loves to build!
My 12-yr old loved it! It took him a full day on Christmas to put together. He says it’s a fun building set and satisfying to finish, but the difficulty level is definitely for older kids who like to sit and build for long stretches. We also got the train, which was cool.

Good idea, good quality manufacturing but poorly made guide. It should be more detailed, more colored layers better drawings for each separate transmission. Should be samples for gear transmission calculations.
