  • BEST ANSWER: To turn off the light on the Sensory Jar, just store it upside down – this will maximize the battery life. The Sensory Jar has a spill-proof lid and won't leak when it's upside down.

Do these open or remain shut? I ask because in description it says small parts?

  • BEST ANSWER: The lid can be unscrewed to fill with any desired sensory items, but it has a child proof lock. We believe the small parts warning is in regard to a small screw on the battery compartment, but will need a little more time to confirm. Rest assured, this item has passed all child safety testing for ages 18 months+.
