Product Details
Embark on a nocturnal adventure with Hoot Owl Hoot!™, a cooperative board game where players unite to help a group of owls return to their nest before the sun rises. Designed for children aged 4 and up, this engaging game fosters teamwork, strategic thinking, and social development in a fun, non-competitive environment.

The game offers varying levels of difficulty by adjusting the number of owls in play, allowing it to grow with your child.
Benefits for Kids:• Encourages Cooperation: Players work together toward a common goal, promoting teamwork and shared decision-making.
• Enhances Strategic Thinking: Deciding which owl to move and when to play certain cards develops planning and foresight.
• Promotes Social Development: Taking turns and discussing strategies build communication skills and empathy.
• No Reading Required: Simple rules and visual cues make the game accessible to early learners.
Included in the Box:
1 game board, 6 owl tokens, 1 sun token, 14 sun cards, 36 color cards and instructions

I've never seen my kids work together so well.
My children are cut-throat competitive board gamers, but Hoot Owl Hoot forced them to cooperate and work together to win as a team... and I nearly cried watching it! They are ages 4, 6 and 8 and literally NEVER get along without fighting, but they strategized together through the entire game, encouraged each other, booed together when anyone drew a sun card and high-fived and hugged when they all won. The game itself is made out of very high quality materials too, with adorable bright, colorful graphics. It'll last through many years of regular use. I can't recommend it enough. Amazing game. Every parent of young siblings NEEDS Hoot Owl Hoot.

Girl Scout approved
I was lucky enough to receive this game through Tryazon and introduce it to my Girl Scout troop. The girls had a blast working together to get the owls home before the sun. It was rewarding watching them work together and create strategy. AS a parent and a troop leader, it was a nice change to see a game encouraging group problem solving and cohesiveness rather than competitiveness. We will be playing this game often.

Hands down the kids' favorite game
We hosted a co op game night and this game was the favorite of all the kids. They all loved the cooperative aspect of the game where they had to work together instead of compete against each other. I loved seeing the kids having fun and not getting frustrated like they would have had they been playing another game where they could be losing. This game was not only entertaining but also taught about the importance of teamwork and sharing, which as a parent I loved. I highly recommend this game for parents of young children. It makes for a great family game night, too.

So cute! One small problem
Hoot Owl Hoot is a great little cooperative game where kids work together to get everyone back to the nest before the sun rises. I was surprised how quickly the kids began helping each other move forward and how excited they got when someone else reached the nest. It is rated for 4+ but my 3 year old played it easily. Any child who knows their colors could play.
The only issue we had was the owl tokens are all the owl tokens are the same color so the kids had a hard time remembering which one of the owls was theirs. Overall it didn’t really matter since the goal is to get everyone to the nest, but it was a little confusing.

Fun for the kids
The kids loved this game. They loved working together to get to the daylight. It was very fun to watch them play together. The only thing I would suggest would be to have the owl tokens have differences. The kids would get excited and forget which one was theirs.

Hoot hoot hoot....so much fun
This game was easy to play with even for a 4 yr old. I was wondering if this was going to be fun for a party night as I had several kids coming in. However as we played, this game became more and more fun. Learning cooperation was fun. It was fun to watch two very competitive kids work together and try to get the the baby into the nest before the sun came. This is definitely one of my favorite game to teach kids how to play together,
Questions & Answers 3 Questions
Hi, in regards to getting the Owls home. We played a 3 player game, we were able to get 2 Owls, the deck ran out of purple cards so the 3rd Owl didn’t make it to the nest. I want to know if that is the correct way of playing this game?

When playing a color card, do empty start spaces count as color spaces or do you skip those? The directions don’t say?

BEST ANSWER: Great question! If you have empty start spaces, position your owls closest to the color spaces to start the game. Empty start spaces would then be behind your owls in play. Happy playing!StaffDecember 12th, 2023Staff
