Kids will write and illustrate a story using this kit and the included Make No Mistake Markers, then receive a professionally printed, hardcover book version of their work. After writing and illustrating their book, use the postage-paid envelope to mail it in, then receive your book in a printed form. An easy-to-follow guidebook includes storytelling tips. Young writers will feel awed and empowered to hold a printed copy of their work in their hands! Learning to write is exciting and fun when the results are so gorgeous. Motivate your child to strengthen writing skills and celebrate his acomplisments forever with this kit. The "About the Author" feature even gives your child the chance to be showcased as the published author on the book's back cover. Make No Mistake Markers let kids color and erase as much as they want. The marker and eraser combination allow kids to flip it over and use the eraser if they color outside the lines. Twelve bold and vibrant colors are included and let kids get started creating masterpieces. It's the best of both worlds - the bright hue of a marker with the freedom of a pencil!

Creative fun!!!!!
The sets were Christmas gifts for 2 of my grandchildren. I was able to start them on their books!! They are very excited!! They are still working on them when I see them! The eleven year old has enough pages done but she says she is not done!!! I will ask their Mom to have them finish when we have a snow day!!! They love the product and so do I !!!! Thank you !!!!

Beware of added markers
I gave it 4 stars because of the Make No Mistake markers Mindware added to the package. Save your money and order the 1 piece set without their added markers. Erasing with these markers works off of the heat from the friction created by the rubber eraser on the end of the marker. When the pages are mailed to be turned into a book, you could very well lose any writing or drawing done with those particular makers if it is hot outside and the envelope sets too long in a postal delivery truck.
