Train young brains to think in multiple dimensions with this interactive STEM tool! Brain Builders Junior combines 20 KEVA planks with a set of stimulating puzzle cards. Perfect for even the youngest of builders—each card features a fun, recognizable 2-D object and the goal is to recreate the pattern into a 3-D structure. The picture cards are numbered in order of difficulty—ranging from beginner to expert. Manipulate the KEVA planks to successfully duplicate the balance, proportion, composition and geometry featured on each card. With each build becoming more challenging, patience and confidence is gained through trial and error. From picnic tables and bridges to dragonflies and triangles, you will be amazed what your brain will build! Don't stop there! After mastering the 40 patterns, use your imagination to create your own designs or tackle the original Brain Builders! Brain Builders Junior teaches basic stacking techniques that can be put to use with larger KEVA construction sets.

Very disappointing!!
Very disappointing!! While this product is a solidly made product it completely misses the mark. The sticks are too small for age group it is marketed for. The entire package is only about 6x6 and the sticks themselves are only about 6" long. They arent big enough or abundant enough to build much at all. The value of the product is terrible. So disappointed!

Nice but stiks too small
While this is a very nicely made product, it misses the mark. The sticks are (imho) too small for the intended age group. This was a gift for my grandson. I am seriously considering re-manufacturing the sticks to a slightly larger size to better suit a 4 year old.

Slightly overpriced
I like that this product challenges a child to think boosting thinking skills, but for $14.95 I expected a little more. I think a more appropriate price fo this product would be $10.95.

Great purchase!
Grandchild, 3 1/2 years old, LOVES this set. It is so simple but sparks creativity. The puzzle cards are perfect. We will be purchasing more planks soon. This is a great starter set to see if there is interest.

Even better than expected!
I thought my 5 year old son might enjoy this toy, but I was wrong: he loves it! The challenge of the cards are a perfect level for him. The older and younger have fun working together and building. I feel like this is such a great tool to build creativity and inspire future engineers and architects.

Are the keva planks in the brain builder sets exactly the same as those in the larger plank sets?

My 5 yr old grandson can find every country on a globe and tell you the language spoken. He taught himself to read at 3 yrs old. What skill set does this use?
