The idea is great; however, the glue would not hold it. I've tried even hot glue. The pieces just won't stay together. It falls apart every time we try to use it. Very disappointing.

My 4 year old son and I had a blast putting this together. It was easy to construct, well built, and launches great. I'm sure my son will enjoy this for years to come.

Very poorly designed product. Assembly is based on GLUING the pieces, so the final product falls to pieces after couple of throws. It should have been much better to have nuts and bolts with predrilled holes.

I saved all my money to get this catapult, which I'd had my eye on for a long time. I'm almost 8 and the instructions were easy enough for me to follow by myself...mom and dad had to check my progress every once in a while. When I lost 2 pieces, I e-mailed MindWare and asked if they'd send replacement parts; they sent me another whole box for twice the fun! NOW I have 6 beanbags instead of 3. I play with the catapult every night before I go to bed, and when my friends come over they think it's totally cool!!!! I love the product and I love the customer service!!!!

I purchased this for my 16 yo nephew for Christmas and got lots and lots of thanks. I was worried at first because the age limit was 7+ but he loved it! I really like to get toys for kids for Christmas and I know that 16 is really pushing the limit. I was happily suprised. He had it put together and was happily using it 3 days after Christmas. Would highly recommend this product and don't be scared off by the age limit. A good value for the money.
