From the photo on the packaging one might think this is a set with channels and pieces shaped so the included balls will run in them. It's not. It is a box with 50 blocks and two balls. If you( being an adult with vested interest) work pretty hard you might be able to construct some runs but the force of the ball will likely knock everything off kilter. Works best as dominoes. Is literally 50 planks and 2 balls.

Fun building, not too sturdy
Bought this for my 7 year old son who loves to build with things. He spends a lot of time building and using the balls that comes with the set. However, the planks are not too sturdy so it's hard to build with them standing upright or build really high structures.

One of the best toys ever!
Keva Contraptions were on my 6yo Christmas list this year after seeing them in the Mindware catalog. I was skeptical, so purchased the smaller set. After he played with the set nearly everyday of break & watching him create some really amazing contraptions, I am wishing I had bought the larger set! Such an ingenious toy! No batteries; no sound; just brain power & imagination. I love it. He loves it. And now I have an idea for his birthday!!

Great product that keeps kids involved
We got this product for our grandson who is 7 years old. He has an older brother and sometimes has difficulty with older toys. This was just for him and he really enjoys being able to build things without help from his older brother. It gives him a great sense of accomplishment.
