My daughter received this as a christmas present. She was very excited as this was something that she had asked for multiple times. The wood and connectors are fine, the "pinwheel" is a cheap piece of foam that has to be create by the child. The worst part for my daughter was that after she had created a maze, the bots would only travel in circles. I ended up buying HexBugs for her to use instead. Very disappointed with the product.

This was a gift for my great nephew's 9th birthday. It was sent to him after his party had to be canceled due to COVID19 social distancing. I just received video of it today. Fun but Frustrating

A little disappointing
Great idea, but there were a couple disappointing aspects. The glue provided to attach decorations to the bots was not an istant super glue type so eager kids went ahead playing anyway while decorations fell off getting glue all over. Then the batteries ran out within 15 minutes of play. So be prepared to buy extra batteries if your kid really wants it.

Bots are problematic
Great blocks & connectors. Batteries don’t last long in the bots so I replaced them. The lid to the battery compartment won’t stay on after being removed and replaced, so bots won’t work. Contacted customer service for help…they said I don’t know how to use a screwdriver.

Didn’t work, right out of the box
Ordered this for my 8-year-old grandson for Christmas. Bots were supposed to be “user-ready”. They never worked, not once, even with their own batteries or with batteries replaced by new. An 8 year old receives a gift he can’t even play with. Horrible disappointment, just horrible
