Useful Learning Tool
I received the MagnaMix Play and Learn as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This is a great learning tool for my preschooler. My complaint is that there are too many tiny magnets, no way to store the sheets, only one bag for the magnets which is not big enough. I have already had to glue several magnets back together. The magnetic board helps keep things in place and the release button makes it easy and fun to clean off the magnets. The art mosaic sheets were a hit.

fun, creative toy with some organizational flaws
I received this game as part of the Stellar Product testing panel. This site limits me to a very short review so here is the quick version: Pros: magnets are heavy weight and seem nice quality-do not rip or crease easily. Game is creative and offers a variety of ways to play. My 3, 5, and 7 year old enjoyed it. Cons: 1 small bag to contain a ZILLION pieces, no built in tray to store activity pages, and magnet board does not stand well on the table. It's great if you don't mind those issues.

Engaging learning toy
This toy was fun and engaging for my kids aged from 2-6! Everything was nicely packaged and easy to understand. The magnetic stand initially felt light and cheap, but I think it will hold up well. The color-by-number key is only on the box, so in case it's discarded, an additional key should be provided. 3 bags should've been included instead of one to separate the 3 categories of magnets. Thanks Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this play and learn toy!

small pieces but great gift.
This is a great item. It is a toy and a leaning tool. My 2 year old took right to it and plays with all the time. My 6 year old grand daughter likes it too.

Creative mess-free play
My three girls have really enjoyed this product so far. They are 3, 4, and 6 and this entertains them all. My 3 year old likes the plain scenes that she can decorate herself. My 4 year old loves the number and alphabet pages and my 6 year old really enjoys the art pages. The magnet keeps the girls from getting frustrated by not having pieces slide all about but allows them to move them around if they are placed wrong. I received this product for free from the Stellar Product Testing Panel

MY KIDS LOVE THIS!
My kids loved the MegnaMix Play & Learn, it was so interactive! They both used this together and also got creative with it. My daughter (3) and son (5) both loved the templets to use to create their designs and it worked great for my daughters hand eye coordination. I do wish there was several smaller bags to keep the pieces separated. Thanks to Stellar Products Testing Panel for providing the MegnaMix Play & Learn.

What is the button at the top of the board intended to do?

  • BEST ANSWER: The button on the top will release any magnets that are placed on the board. It's a fun way to clear the board that kids love.

This magnamix was given to me without instructions. Is it lighted? Does it need batteries?

  • BEST ANSWER: Thanks for asking. The board is not lighted and does not require batteries. Simply slide a card through the slots in the frame and use the magnets to fill in the patterns and shapes, learn numbers and practice counting or match letters and objects that start with that letter sound. The top button can be used as a fun quick release to clear the magnets from the board.
