What a marvelous idea! I sent these kits out for Xmas to my 2 godchildren and they loved them! It was a great project they could do together, all couped-up during COVID. Then, the fact that they could each make them their “own”, with the paints provided, was a great addition. Finally, they’ll get to see their handi-work up close, providing a special home for the baby birds on their deck. FANTASTIC PURCHASE!!!

Cute Birdhouse Kit
It's a nicely made kit that goes together well. The only small problem is that it'd be nice to have a bit of actual wood glue; what came with it was quite dry.
The paint pots that come with it are a smart design. At least a dozen colors. Many times you have to pry pots open and some of the paint might spill. These have a mechanism to pinch open and then just snap closed.
The 5 1/2 year old was able to put the kit together and he did a nice job painting it.
