Watch out these have numbers in them!
I ordered these because I thought they were the same as those in the sample book that my daughter had enjoyed. They are similar, but involve numbers and mathematical concepts. If I had realized that math skills (computation and number sense) were needed to solve the puzzles, I probably would not have ordered them. I was looking for the ones that deal specifically with logic and deductive reasoning. My younger kids (just beginning this series) were completely turned off by them. My older kids have enjoyed them, though.

Good purchase - will probably buy more
10-year-old daughter is really enjoying this workbook. She finds the problems challenging, but fun. She says the math required is very easy, but the logic...! This is her first book like this, but she enjoys puzzles, mysteries, sudoku, etc, so I hoped she would be interested.
A good purchase; I will probably continue in the series as her skill level advances.

I actually found the 'clues' to be insufficient to select the correct answers to the ones I tried at this leveldidn't actually get into the other levels.
