Could be fun if more stable.
Bought this to keep my 8 yr old engaged and away from electronic games.
He likes building long, complicated marble runs, but gets frustrated with this, as it's not very stable, has no base pieces (besides where the marbles come out), so if he even bumps it slightly, it falls apart.
This makes him angry, so he walks away.
Not the fun toy I thought it would be. :(

Not stable
I was disappointed in this product. My son loves playing with it but it was a pain putting it back together every time it collapsed. We kept trying to make it stable by ensuring it had the support it needed and not making it so high, but it still continued to fall and break apart as soon as my son would play with it. Returned the product as it became extremely frustrating to keep having to put back together.

Great for an 8 year old boy AND a 35 year old man!
I was concerned that our 8 yr old son would not like it. Maybe it was for younger kids and it isn't a video game. I'm so happy I was wrong! They love it!! They - an 8 year old boy AND a 45 year old father! The only complaint was that they wanted more pieces and one of the masterpieces that was built was so high the 8 yr old needed a foot stool to reach the top! We love it!

My kids and their friends and even my husband love marble run. They’ve spent hours building making multiple start points and trying to use as many pieces as possible. The set is sturdy and pieces fit together well. Wish it came in a plastic tub for storage.
