Great gift for the history kid.
Bought this for a 16 year old boy who loves history and unusual stories yet to be told.

Not "Jam-packed"
These books were returned. Unimpressive in content and substance. Questions are much more interesting the way the answers are given. Very little text on each page. Written like a reference book.

Not sure if I would recommend.
My grandson saw these books in MindWare catalogue and we gave them to him for christmas. When package arrived I was surprised to see how small they were - not regular size as a book but bigger than a paperback. I was disappointed - and when my grandson unwrapped them - he also responded how small they were. I'm sure he will enjoy them however.....not sure I would buy from this company again. FYI - our daughter also bought a gift from this catalogue - chocolate making kit - and that was disappointing as well - very small.

Recommend for grade 8 Students and above
Interesting subjects. Vocabulary and concepts not at elementary level.
