Ice cream maker

I bought this for grandkids. I assumed it would take a long time to make ice cream but it was way too long and finally put the ice cream in the freezer to continue to set. It slung liquid all over my kitchen floor. I had to put down a beach towel and we rolled it back and forth to each other. Had a simple recipe that the maker suggested and it just isn't worth the time. My grandkids do not have an hour and half attention span for making ice cream. I do not recommend this and the mess took as long to clean up.

Great fun-Great results!

I had one for my classroom and have given three away as gifts. Each one has been enjoyed as an activity for family nights, sleep overs, play dates, birthdays and classroom science lessons. I really like that we can make the recipes tailored to nutritional preferences and that the ball can be disassembled for thorough cleanings. This ranks as a child’s favorite!

Good ice cream - difficult to use

We used this product to make ice cream and the final product was delicious. However, the ball leaked all over the floor so we had to use a bunch of towels. It's really hard to hold onto when it drips all across the floor. We also had a hard time opening the different chambers because the rolling cause a build up of liquid and slush on both sides.

One-Quart Play & Freeze Softshell Ice Cream Maker

Thought this was a great product! Haven't had feedback from my nephew and niece who each received one as a gift but I imagine they will love it once they make ice cream with their moms. Only slightly negative comment was one of the boxes had a tear and I love things to be perfect when I give them as gifts. Otherwise, they were both in fine condition.
