Just OK

The porcelain came with a shiny finish, so the paint just smeared when it was applied. There is also very little of each paint color - not enough to do the entire roof evenly in one color. However, my daughter had a great time painting it and uses it every night.

Kids love this

Was hesitant at first because of some of the negative reviews were based on paint not adhering/covering that well, but my 9 year old daughter did two coats as she went and it turned out great. With paint left over. Overall this is a great project that turns off the TV/internet and lets a kid create. Two gifts in one really. The art project was fun for her (few hours over several days working on it) and now she has a night light that should last for quite a while.

So whimisical and fun!

This was such a fun little project for me and my little one. We painted the little fairy light together and now this little light is inside my kid's bedroom and I love the whimsical look as décor.

Awesome paint porcelain!

This was fun to do with my son. Its a great quality product! It comes with 12 different colors of pain , two paint brushes , two battery operated tea lights and a painting guide. I helped my son and the paint came out very nice. I highly recommend this paint for all the children.

Garbage-if you actually want to paint it.

I really wanted to like this project, but the quality is bad. The paint is so thin that it ran when applied, even when applied lightly. The problem is that the piece is already fired with a glaze. So, the paint isn't absorbed to be baked later like in common pottery kits. Gross kit!

BEST ANSWER: Our specially formulated paints are designed to create a resistant and glossy finish once baked in the oven. We recommend using only the included paints if you intend to bake the porcelain to set the design.

What are the baking instructions? Our instructions were accidentally thrown away?

BEST ANSWER: Bake the porcelain in the oven for 30 minutes at 225° F on a baking sheet. After 30 minutes, turn the oven off. The piece will be very hot so allow it time to cool in the oven prior to removal.
