Battery box impossible to open
Product and paints are great…but it is IMPOSSIBLE to get the battery box open even with a multitude of tools and skilled users. What good is a light up tree the cannot light up! Customer service was NO help

A Christmas Tree Delight
The 7 and 10 year old granddaughters really enjoyed painting these Christmas trees. The lights make it a worthwhile gift and add Christmas cheer around the house. We can put them out each year. Just remember to remove the batteries before you pack it away for the year.

What powers the lights - batteries or does it plug into an electrical socket?

  • BEST ANSWER: Our Paint Your Own Porcelain Tree Light utilizes three "AAA" batteries to illuminate the tree bulbs and features an automated timer to save you from having to turn it on and off each day! Batteries are not included.

What kind of paint is used and after painting the tree do you bake it?

  • BEST ANSWER: Our paints are specially formatted to apply on porcelain. They can easily be cleaned up with water and are non-toxic. Unlike our other PYO porcelain sets, the Tree Light is NOT baked after painting. It houses a battery compartment for illuminating your painted piece. Thanks for asking!
