A Relaxing Project
I haven't completed painting my butterfly - it's a summer project. I was excited to see the butterfly and flower stepping stones included in the spring catalog. I like the design and size - very appropriate to use in a garden. I enjoy doing the painting and like the stress free relaxation the activity provides. Just enough painting to complete in a couple of sittings. I have painted the hedgehog and gnome and they sit proudly and colorfully in my garden already.

Lots of fun to paint with kids
I bought several of the PYO stepping stones as gifts for my grandchildren ( 2 butterflies, a turtle, 2 flowers, the unicorn and spiral). We painted them together and we all had a great time. (Ages 5-15, boys and girls.) The paints worked well but the consistency of the paints varied. Some were quite thick and required only one coat. Some were quite thin and needed 2 coats. After the stones were baked they looked great. I am hoping the paint will withstand rain and lots of sun.

Painting fun for kids and adults!
I purchased 2 stones each for my two granddaughters, 8 and 10, and for myself. Some of the paint colors required several coats. Also, the supplied paint brush was too big for the smaller areas and dots. We used smaller brushes I had on hand. We really enjoyed painting our stepping stones!

Great activity for children and adults alike. This would even be helpful for elderly who are working on fine motor skills and/or memory activities.
