These are really cute, but we put ours outside and then both crumbled into many pieces the first time they were actually stepped on. Maybe they aren’t meant for that, but then they should not be called “stepping stones”. The description does suggest creating a pathway with them though, so I don’t think it was our fault. At that price, I’d expect much better quality. We have some disappointed kids.

Great Activity for Kids
I bought the turtle for my 8-year old grandson and the butterfly for my 5-year old granddaughter for Valentine's Day. They both love to paint and have space in their backyard for stepping stones. I loved the variety of paint colors that came with the stones. These stones kept them occupied for quite a while and they really had fun doing the painting. I highly recommend these stepping stones.

stepping stones
I bought these stones as xmas gifts for my grandchildren to give to their parents. They loved the idea. Each year we do a craft that they can surprise their parents with and the stepping stones were a big hit. The kids are 8 and 9 and they really enjoyed painting these stones, their parents liked the idea a lot also.

its really fun
Its really fun. i like how the colors have to have a second coat.My only con is that the little spots are hard to get without getting the valleys,or crevises,painted.many artist should try these.

Stones disintegrated
My grandchildren and I had a lovely time painting the stones. I ordered six kits. We put them out on the garden path, as shown on the box, and two of them have disintegrated. We are very disappointed.

Good idea but not a quality lasting product
Bought 3 of these for Easter gifts and the kids enjoyed them. Fun project but ours crumbled after less than a year of being outside. I’m trying to buy less “stuff” for my kids and like the idea of functional art—but these are apparently not a quality product so what’s the point? Could have bought a paint by number for much cheaper.

Don’t step on the stepping stone
Was a great time actually painting and creating our Turtle but the turtle is extremely fragile. We found it crushed in our backyard a few days later. Clearly someone had stepped on it but you would hope a “stepping stone” could be stepped on…at least once

Crumbled in less than a year.
These were so much fun for the kids to paint but crumbled in less than a year. So dissapointing as I thought we would still have them when the kids were grown. They are in a garden that has no foot traffic so they have never been used as stepping stones. I guess if you plan to keep them indoors they might last.

Great product, Great quality!
Just love these stepping stones! My granddaughters painted them for my flower garden, then I ordered more for them to paint for their mom for Mother’s Day. We usually put 2 coats of paint, which makes the color a little more intense. Then baking them makes them really bright. Highly recommend this product for quality and price, buying 3 makes them very reasonable priced with the discount.
