Should there be space along the side of the blocks? They don't fit snugly in the tray and slide around even when complete. Is this normal?

Some patterns only have rectangle pieces. From what I can see, there are no rectangle pieces included in the box. I see nowhere to purchase rectangle pieces either. How are these patterns to be completed with the necessary colors when the only pieces included all have an angled end?

Do any of the pattern cards not provide the lines between shapes to provide a more difficult level so that you have to figure out what pieces go together to create the shape on the card?

BEST ANSWER: Some of the pattern cards are more challenging requiring you to stack angled ends together to create the illusion of a blunt end. All patterns are created flat within the tray. Our puzzle came with multiple cards in which perfectly rectangular and square blocks are put together to form straight line patterns. The blocks with our set have mitered corners and cannot crest these patterns. Are we missing blocks, or were the wrong cards placed along with the puzzle?
