Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Grandsons love the knives. They are finally able to help in the kitchen with something more than a butter knife. The knives work best with a hard cutting board service as opposed to the flexible plastic mats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome knife set My 4 year old granddaughter loves her knives. They work so much better than her butter knife. I don't worry about her cutting herself with a dull blade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good To Go I bought these for my 6 year old daughter. She likes them, they are safe, rigid and they actually cut with ease. They are plastic, so I would say you would be less prone to have an accident with them. She likes to help with meal prep so we let her at the veggies. She truly enjoys being with us and working with us in the kitchen. It also allows us to teach her while she is willing to learn. We hand wash and keep in a separate drawer away from the metal utensils, I don't want them to get to banged up. Overall a pretty decent blade for a child to learn with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1st set was a hit, bought a 2nd set! Got these knives for a 5 yr.old girl who loves to help in the kitchen. Her Dad tried to cut himself with them and could not. He let her he cut through a banana peel and was a clean cut. He was pleased. The next day he sent a video of her cutting up raw chicken to be stir fried. Perfect for what we wanted. I just ordered a 2nd set for a boy turning 5.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for the real kid chef I was hoping these knives would be more realistic. My granddaughter, Kaia had a hard time cutting apples and tomatoes. The serrated edges are not sharp enough to really cut so she pretty much just smashed the food. We'll try again next time cutting other veggies. Overall, great play knives but not really made for a real kid chef.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Safety knife set They are a gift, so they haven’t been used yet. But we have checked them out very carefully because they are going to a 5 year old. I feel comfortable giving them to her. She has everything except knives so she will be very excited.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very frustrating My 10 year old daughter received these as a birthday gift - even at her age, she gets extremely frustrated because they do not cut very well & she's exhausted from using every bit of strength she has to cut something. We've tried cucumbers, zucchini, carrots, apples....big hunks with no control over size of cut. Want to return but they were a gift from a family member from another state and no receipt. Disappointed.
