Disappointed
I really wanted to like this. I purchased it for my 5 year old for Christmas and was disappointed. The magnets are not strong enough to hold the car together during basic play - such as zooming it in a curve - the tires come off. Many times a midsection would also detach without being rough at all. It looked metal to me in the photo, so I was surprised it was plastic. This product had so much potential but we are left $30 short and disappointed.

Is it only one car or can you build multiple cars?

  • BEST ANSWER: Thanks for asking. The Popular Playthings Build-a-Car set includes 11 different pieces to make an 8” coupe, sedan, pickup, crew cab, sports SUV, or SUV. However, only 4 wheels are included and thus one vehicle can be created at a time.

Is it able to be played with after its built? Like a normal toy car/truck. Do wheels move ect?

  • BEST ANSWER: Thanks for asking. The wheels will turn slightly, however the design does not include an axel so the wheels are prone to falling off with aggressive play.
