Ratings & Reviews

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for a six year old I purchased this for my six and seven year old grand sons who are building pros. The instructions for this toy are impossible. They’re trying for a top down view of the project but don’t succeed. I spent hours trying to help them but will have to resume tomorrow. This would be a great game if we could figure it out. For heavens sake FIX THE INSTRUCTIONS.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versatile toy The children enjoy building with the blocks as well as using it for a marble ramp.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun toy This a fun toy. My 10 year old loves building with this toy. I would not recommend this to a home of toddlers. The marbles are small and rarely land in the marble catcher like they're supposed to. We find them all over.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice toy, but horrible instructions - bring back the plans! I'm torn on this. The toy is great, and once a kid gets familiar with it enough to free play they will likely enjoy it. However, the instructions are useless and there are no plans for most of the designs shown on the box or in the instruction book. And don't buy Mindware's recent response to someone else's post. The site with the plans they mention only has four plans per product. There used to be lots more before Mindware ruined things.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great toy Got it for Christmas and having fun with it but I can't seem to find the instructions for the parrot for the big set. Any idea where I can find it? The picture of the parrot is on the box and advertisements.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We love the toy; only wish there were more plans We are having a great time with this toy - we bought two, and make great structures. However, I wish there were more plans for making some of the structures we saw on the box. There currently are only four on the website; I get the impression that there used to be more and that users could submit ideas. It's a great toy to play free-form, but sometimes, we want to see what it's like to build already-tested structures. All that said - we would definitely buy again and recommend to others.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great product, Terrible Instructions This is a great product, however the instructions for building actual designs is terrible. I recommend taking a page out of LEGO's book and get a clue as to how to put instructions together. For example, each color comes with 3 different cube designs, however it does not note when to use which design. This is frustrating, especially for kids.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fun Until The Instructions Changed I had a lot of fun with this product. Today I Finally figured out how to build tower 11 and everyone at Thanksgiving Dinner was very impressed. When I went to look for the website with all the instructions I was very upset to find the website along with the instructions has changed. There are no longer as many instructions and there doesn't seem to be anywhere to submit your own designs. PLEASE PLEASE BRING THE OLD INSTRUCTIONS AND OLD WEBSITE BACK. I understand some people found them confusing but they will learn. It is also really annoying because links to nonexistent plans are still on the internet and all they do is take you to the new website.
