Great for development!
My daughter’s uncle got her this at 3 yrs old and she is now almost 6. She needs some help building it but very easy to do with an adult and fun for me too. Plus she loves making her own creations with it. She has hours of fun wondering which way the marbles are gonna roll next. I highly recommend this for growing minds.

This is an adult toy, not for a 6 or 8 year old. Bah Humbug!
much to complicated for a bright 6 year old even with the help of his bright 8 year old brother. It is now on the shelf in my closet in my bedroom waiting for some mechanically minded adult to do it with the boys. Disappointing because the box looked so pretty and I bought it on sale for the 6 year old's birthday.

In step three, how do you attach the the top of the rail to the cube?
Linda T. | August 24th, 2022
  • BEST ANSWER: Thanks for asking! Rail pieces have two different connection types on either end. You can reference the "Getting Started" section of the instructions for a helpful diagram and to see a visual representation of rail building basics. In step 3, locate the "B" end which has a smaller connector when comparing the two ends. Slide the "B" end down and over the u-shaped curve of it's adjoining cube piece. Then slide the "T" end of the rail from the bottom upwards, over the lip exit of it's adjoining cube. We recommend reviewing the "Rail Building Basics" section again for a visual diagram.
