Great toy, but one connector was missing
My 4 year old daughter and I have really enjoyed this toy. However, we noticed during our first use that we were missing a connector but were able to substitute it with one of a different color. We also were short one marble. It would be nice if there were more plans available for this set, but we were able to figure out how to create a heart (see picture)

Bad directions
The set only comes with one set of directions, and they aren’t accurate. They have you hook the rails into the wrong cubes so it doesn’t work (fixed by looking at pic on box). The back of the booklet shows two other designs you can build, but no instructions available for them on Mindware. No additional plans available for this set with two rails either. My very engineering-oriented 9 year old was frustrated with this toy. I’m the only reviewer who paid for this and I’m disappointed

Fun and Sparkly
My two daughters, 7 and 4, really enjoyed playing with this. They did require some assistance to set it up the first time. I think they'll be able to get the hang of it soon, and should be able to play with this set unassisted before too long. I like the fact that this set is complete, that it has enough pieces to make something fun without having to purchase more, but it's also nice to know we can extend! I got this from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my review.

This is a great toy for inspiring ingenuity, innovation, and collaboration!
I was given this builder set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and my daughters (7 & 9) love it. The instruction book outlines each step of the construction process with easy to follow diagrams, pictures and text. It was fun for me to sit back and watch them analyze the plans, hypothesize outcomes, make modifications, and work together through the build-without any input from me. The parts are well designed and the cubes slide together and come apart easily. We love this set!

The pieces are actually difficult to put together and keep the structure as strong as the photos show. The instructions and sample designs are not easy to assemble (even for the adults) for my special needs child. We're probably going to return this.

Perfect for building & problem solving
I was given this builder set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Simple & easy to unpackaged. After looking at the instruction book I realized quickly I was going to have to be the one to build the marble maze. Seemed too advanced for my 6 & 7 yo. It took a little under 1 hr to unpackaged & build. Felt like good quality pieces, although one piece didn’t fit snug enough but after completing the maze didn’t appear to affect how it functioned. Kids enjoyed. Plan to build more.

6yo loves the design but doesn’t find it intuitive yet
My 6yo loves the pink and glitter but doesn’t find the interlocking mechanisms intuitive enough to envision new maze shapes or experiment on her own. The more traditional marble set her brother has is easier for her to build with. Adult help definitely needed for maximum kid enjoyment. But this is good quality and will last as she gets better with it. (Received this for free via the Stellar Review Panel in exchange for my review)

Fun for all ages!
As a mom of 3, I'm looking for fun, engaging toys that will appeal to various ages. This set was a hit among my children ages 7, 6, and 3. This was our first Q-BA-MAZE set so it took a little while to classify the types of connector pieces but after that, the directions were clear and easy to follow. My children were fascinated watching the balls go down various paths. This set encourages problem solving, creativity, and family fun! Thank you to the Stellar Panel for providing this product.
