Product Details

Qwirkle Rummy is the fun family card game where players create sets by matching shapes or colors. Any player can add to any set or switch cards in the sets, but the real pay off happens when a set of all 6 is completed and a Qwirkle is scored. The player with the most Qwirkles after the last card is drawn wins the game. Contains 108 playing cards and rules.

True blue
Really love this game, a new take on qwirkle and rummy, which we have been playing for years. One huge big gripe is - please could you make the 'blue' more of a true blue (like aqua??) - it's really difficult to tell the difference between 'blue' and purple.

Family fun
Fun game. Doesn't take as long as regular quirkle or quirkle cube. Strategy is good.

UNDERSTANDING THE INTRUCTIONS!
FRIST THING, I WOULD NOT HAVE KNOWN ABOUT IT BUT THE LADY WHO TOOK MY CALL TOLD ME ALL ABOUT IT. AFTER GETTING THE GAME AND PLAYING WITH A FRIEND WE DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT TO DO AFTER YOU PLAY ALL NINE CARDS AND DRAWN NINE MORE. WE PLAY ANOTHER CARD GAME WHERE YOU KEEP PLAYING. BUT THIS ONE, AFTER YOU PLAY YOUR FRIST NINE YOU DRAWN NINE MORE AND STOP, WHICH I LEARDES AFTER READING AND LISTENING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS WITH THE LADY ON THE PHONE.

Great idea!
I love the colors and shapes that help even color blind players to play and have fun! Great thinking!

Order promptly taken care of
I love Rummy. I love Qwirkle. Having the two combined in card format, I not so sure whether I will love it. Just played it once. But innovation and creativity are always welcome. Shipping cost of just buying the game is more expensive than the game itself. The vendor responded to my inquiry of alternative shipping method promptly and offered free shipping. It is a big LIKE, not that I want everything free. I am suggesting some kind of pick-up center. I received my order without issues : )

Fun and good, clear instructions.
Very fun twist on old Rummy Cube. All of the directions were quite clear and understandable and complete.

If a player can't play any card, play passes to the next player. But the player who passed her turn still won't be able to play when it comes around to her turn again. The rules say nothing about exchanging cards, but it seems like that must happen for that player to be able to continue playing. Was something like that omitted from the rules?

Is there any penalty to keeping your cards in your hand? Cuz if you hang on to them then you stop others from getting a qwirkle after the last card is drawn. ?

If you play all 9 of your cards, do you draw 9 more and then continue playing, or is your turn then over?
Melissa W. | April 3rd, 2022
  • BEST ANSWER: Thanks for inquiring. If you play all the cards in your hand in one turn, then your turn ends and you would redraw a full hand for your next turn.
