If a player can't play any card, play passes to the next player. But the player who passed her turn still won't be able to play when it comes around to her turn again. The rules say nothing about exchanging cards, but it seems like that must happen for that player to be able to continue playing. Was something like that omitted from the rules?

Is there any penalty to keeping your cards in your hand? Cuz if you hang on to them then you stop others from getting a qwirkle after the last card is drawn. ?

If you play all 9 of your cards, do you draw 9 more and then continue playing, or is your turn then over?
Melissa W. | April 3rd, 2022
  • BEST ANSWER: Thanks for inquiring. If you play all the cards in your hand in one turn, then your turn ends and you would redraw a full hand for your next turn.
