Do not buy unless on sale
I was not expecting much but this product is poorly made and worth only about $5.

Best Safe for Kids
My son HAD to have this safe once he spotted the old school dial lock. The code to unlock was on the bottom of the safe and it works just like these locks normally do. No issues. He loves storing his "treasures" in the safe and thinks the alarm is hysterical. Another high quality item from mindware.

Not worth it
My 8 year old says that this safe is so safe he can’t even open it. That’s because the combination lock is extremely finicky. It takes many tries by an adult to get it to open. The alarm is loud and annoying. Don’t waste your money on this safe.

Is there another way for parents to access the safe, such as a key?

  • BEST ANSWER: Thanks for asking. The combination to the safe is provided on a sticker located on the bottom of the safe. We recommend parents keep a copy of the combination, because the safe does not accommodate a master key.
